Pass on your gifts to help Heifer International end hunger and poverty and care for the Earth by volunteering at Heifer Village in downtown Little Rock. Whether you become a guide, help visitors in Shop@Heifer or volunteer at special events, your contribution makes a difference.
Volunteers must commit to a minimum of one shift per week, or four to five hours a week for at least 6 months. Shifts available are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and complete required training.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Visitor Relations — Welcome and assist visitors and facilitate a positive, engaging experience
Special Events Assistant — Assist Heifer staff before, during and after special events
Guides — Lead visitors through the hands-on exhibits designed to increase the impact of their experience; lead tours that showcase Heifer’s award-winning green building
Education — Assist Education staff with the preparation and facilitation of programs for school groups and the general public
Shop@Heifer — Help shoppers with selecting earth- and artisan-friendly products
Office Assistant — Provide vital behind-the-scenes support
