Public Events

Heifer Village's public events are designed to educate your family about other cultures and global issues while having a lot of fun. Check out our Heifer Village events calendar often to see all the activities that you won't want to miss.

Events that require reservations have admission fees, age restrictions and set begin and end times. Events that do not require reservations are free, open to all ages and you may drop-in at any time during the event hours.

 

Heifer Hour Summer Activities

Every Tuesday and Saturday
May 4 - August 31, 2013
 
Throughout the summer children and their parents can enjoy a new activity every week. Each Tuesday and Saturday at 11 a.m. Heifer Village will host "Heifer Hour", featuring a craft, game, children's book or outdoor activity to help teach kids about caring for the Earth and for other people.  Activities in this series are geared for children in grades K-5 and all materials are provided by Heifer Village.
