Each Overlook Farm day program includes an introduction to Heifer International and a guided walking-tour of the Heifer Global Village and Overlook Farm. Review each program below to find the program that fits your group's needs the best. We offer two and a half, four to five hour and seven hour programs.

TWO AND A HALF- HOUR PROGRAMS

Basic Overlook Farm Tour – Pre-K to Senior Adults
Learn how Heifer is improving millions of lives around the world.
Booking Information: Offered Monday-Sunday year-round.
Group Rates*: $100 (1-16); $200 (17-32); $300 (33-48); $400 (49-64); $500 (65-80)
Tuition Fees Include: Heifer video and guided walking-tour

Animal Connections – All Ages
Learn about the many benefits animals provide while you spin wool, milk a goat or groom livestock. Hands-on activities vary based on your group size and the time of year that you visit.

FOUR TO FIVE HOUR PROGRAMS

Global Solutions – 4th to 12th Grades
We all eat food! Take a closer look at how the food we eat gets from the ground to our plate. This program examines the importance of healthy soil, Heifer's sustainable agriculture practices, a food systems activity, and how Overlook preserves and prepares food.

Humans and Habitats– 4th to 12th Grades
While preparing and eating a Global Village meal, discover how culture is reflected in the food we eat and how we prepare it. Investigate the impact of food choices and examine issues surrounding population and resource distribution.

Tuition Fees Include: Heifer video, guided walking-tour and educational activities (including Global Village meal).

Seeds – 5th to 8th Grades
This program rotates your group through educational stations including a global village meal, hands-on learning at village sites, livestock interactions and garden activities. In just a few hours, your group will cover a broad spectrum of activities at Overlook Farm to discover the concepts of development and sustainability.

SEVEN HOUR PROGRAM

Hope - 6th Grade and Older
Hope includes the Overlook Farm tour and a service session. Group members will also prepare and eat a lunch in the Global Village to experience a meal similar those that Heifer's project partners eat every day. The program is approximately 85% educational and 15% service oriented.

Tuition Fees Include: Heifer video, guided walking-tour, a service project and educational activities (including a Global Village meal)
