Susan Sanders

Cleveland, Ohio

Susan is a covenant agency director representing the United Church of Christ.

She currently serves as Minister and Team Leader for Global Sharing of Resources and One Great Hour of Sharing Administrator with the United Church of Christ (UCC) Wider Church Ministries. She has served the UCC for 25 years. Susan guides a team of individuals entrusted with the disaster, development, refugee, immigration and volunteer ministries of the UCC.

Previously, Susan was Minister for Volunteer Services of the United Church Board for Homeland Ministries; member of Deaconess Hospital staff; and a volunteer with the Peace Corps in Liberia and the UCC at Bethany Children's Home in Pennsylvania.

Susan also serves on the Board of Directors for Church World Service and the Foods Resource Bank, and she is a Specialized Ministry representative to the World Council of Churches.

Susan is a member of Pilgrim UCC in Cleveland, Ohio, where she sings in the choir and serves on the Good News and Called to Care Ministry teams. Through Prisoner Visitation and Support, Susan visits prisoners monthly at the Federal Correctional Institution in Elkton, Ohio.
