Susan serves on Heifer's Board as an At-Large Representative.

Professionally, Susan is co-founder of FBB Capital Partners, which works to help clients achieve long-term financial goals. Since its inception in 1989, the firm and its principals have donated more than $1.5 million to charities that aid movements in ecology and sustainability around the world. Susan has worked in the financial services sector for over 25 years and was one of the first five Certified Financial Planners in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

A regular commentator on CNN, CNBC, Forbes on Fox and Bloomberg Radio, Susan has also been quoted in Business Week, Investors Business Daily, The Wall Street Journal and numerous other periodicals. She was named one of the Outstanding Women of America while serving as vice president and general manager of WASH FM Metromedia Radio.

Susan formerly sat on the Board of her alma mater, Wilson College, and in 1999 she endowed the college's Richard Alsina Fulton Center for Sustainable Living in memorial to her husband. The 50-acre farmstead provides hands-on education regarding environmental issues and solutions.

She is the product of two generations of military families and lived at West Point while her father taught at the Academy. She visits her daughter and grandchildren in Singapore annually and has lived extensively in Southeast Asia.
