Gift Ark

Inspire your congregation to take on Heifer’s ultimate challenge: raising $5,000 to purchase a Gift Ark. This animal gift provides livestock—two each of pigs, cows, trios of rabbits, donkeys, beehives, sheep, llamas/alpacas, flocks of geese, goats, oxen, flocks of chicks, trios of ducks, trios of guinea pigs, water buffalo, camels and pigs—and training for struggling families worldwide. 

The Gift Ark guide shares stories of churches and their techniques and successes at raising money for a Gift Ark and beyond. It also tells the stories of families who have received the gift of livestock and training and whose lives have been transformed.  A longtime Heifer tradition is to award an Ark Plaque to congregations that give a Gift Ark to Heifer, a great way to display to your community your commitment to helping the world’s poor and hungry.
